“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Matthew 6:33

God created man for fellowship, desiring that we worship and commune with Him. However, this fellowship was lost through the fall, only to be restored by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus came not only to redeem us from sin but also to renew our relationship with Him. Despite this, many still labour tirelessly to survive, forgetting their true purpose in Christ.

While survival is essential, we must remember that everything we seek is ultimately found in Him. The secret lies in prioritising His kingdom above all else. God’s plans for us are good and designed to give us a glorious end. This expected end is discovered through daily fellowship with God, making Him the center of your life and your highest priority.

Whether you seek wealth, a life partner, or answers to life’s questions, take it all to Jesus and ask: “Lord, what will You have me do?” Jesus invites us with these comforting words: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Embrace this rest by making your love for God and your relationship with Him your ultimate focus. His kingdom holds the answers to all you seek.

Charge: Let your relationship with God be your greatest priority.
