“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Isaiah 26:3

The peace found in God is genuine, while the peace the world offers is fleeting and false. As Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Storms and trials are inevitable—it’s not a negative statement, but a truth confirmed by Jesus in John 16:33: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

As believers, we have an anchor that holds our soul—Jesus, the Prince of Peace. No matter the challenges or difficulties we face, God is with us, and Jesus will guide us through every storm to safety. Therefore, we are encouraged to trust in the Lord at all times, depend on Him, and fully commit ourselves to His care. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen.

Confession: I choose to trust in You, Lord, and find peace in every area of my life.
