“And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?”

Genesis 4:9

The world is experiencing drastic changes which everyone wants to keep up with each passing time to fit perfectly into the economy. This case has led to several acts of selfishness where people are now only concerned about themselves and their immediate family. Yet, this is not the way of life commanded by God in the scriptures.

“As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10. This Scripture admonishes us to do good to all men and nullify every thought of segregation. As believers, we should emulate the lifestyle of God by being our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers.

We should not turn a blind eye when we notice people experiencing a threatening situation. We should learn to render help as the Lord has given us the grace. People are always remembered for their acts of kindness, goodness, and selflessness. May the Lord help us to do good unto all men according to the riches of God’s grace in Jesus’ name. Amen
