“Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.”
Matthew 18:14
There were myths we held onto as children that gripped our hearts so strongly that we never questioned their authenticity, let alone dared to go against them. Sometimes I wonder why such ideas spread so quickly, and how we grow up with them. This conditioning influences our choices and decisions. Many times, they do no good; they simply become limitations.
I remember being called back to the factory where I did my IT shortly after my final exam. In the house where I lodged, a brother—who happened to work at the factory—began to question my arrival. He did not believe I could work at such a high level, especially with the boss I said I was attached to. He suggested other positions he thought I would likely be assigned to. Perhaps he undermined me because I was young for that role and had not yet received my certificate.
Regardless of his opinion, I remained optimistic because I believed God’s will for me was not to settle for less. Eventually, I resumed in that same role and became his superior at work. He found it difficult to believe, but he had no choice but to accept it.
Charge: It does not matter who believes in you or not; when God reveals His will, it cannot fail if you choose to believe.
