“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.”
Ecclesiastes 11:6
Life is full of uncertainties, and we often can’t predict which efforts will yield the best results. Today’s devotional encourages us to be diligent and proactive, sowing seeds in multiple areas, trusting that God will bring about good in His own way.
Success is not solely dependent on our own understanding or control. Instead, it’s about being faithful and diligent in our endeavours, while trusting God’s sovereignty.
Therefore, do not withhold thy hand. Give as much as you can. Help as much as you can. Help can come in several forms. It doesn’t have to be monetary help. A piece of advice, a kind gesture, a genuine “hello, are you okay?” etc., are acts of service that God can use to bless and increase you on every side.
Charge: Sow in the morning, sow in the noon, sow in the night; for you don’t know which will yield fruit.
