“And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.”
Ruth 4:14
Naomi had tasted loss, grief, and emptiness. Her journey from Bethlehem to Moab and back was marked by sorrow. Yet in Ruth 4:14, we witness a divine reversal. The same Naomi who once cried, “Call me Mara, for the Almighty hath dealt bitterly with me,” now hears the testimony of others declaring, “The Lord has not left you without a redeemer.” God had not forgotten her.
How often do we, like Naomi, feel forgotten or forsaken when life gets tough? We often focus on unanswered prayers, but God is quietly weaving redemption behind the scenes.
The total turnaround we see about Naomi, Ruth’s loyalty, Boaz’s kindness, and the birth of Obed were not random blessings. They were proof of a God who never walks away from His own. Even in silence, He is present. Even in loss, He is working. We may not always feel Him, but we can trust His Word: “He will never leave nor forsake us.”
Charge: You are not alone; in every kindness shown, in every open door, in every small comfort, and even when you go through challenges—He is there.
