“And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows.”

Exodus 3:7

If it is impossible for a mother not to recognise the sound of her child’s cry, how much more God who has created man in His own image and likeness. When we call upon God in our distress, and it seems like He’s far, it’s because He’s working things out in our favour, and not because our voices are unheard—as long as we abhor no sins.

Isaiah 49:15 says, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” NKJV. Today, God is saying that your season of tears is over, and for your sorrow, He will give you double for what was lost. He’s stepping into your situation and by Himself would turn things around.

Again, as a sign that He hasn’t left you, He gave a promise: “Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.” Isaiah 62:4.

Charge: Wipe your tears; it’s the hour of fulfilment, and it shall be at this time according to His word, even as He had spoken concerning Sarah in Gen 21:1.

Further Study: Isaiah 58:9-14.

Have a beautiful weekend.
