Here’s a saying we’re familiar with, “There is time for everything,” and it is scripturally proven to be true. There is an opportune time to do things here on earth, especially as children of God. For every activity of nature created, God has systematically made them align with their right timing.
As believers, we should be aware that everything that happens in this world occurs at the time God chooses, and we are only expected to yield to this perfect act of God. Humans can be so detailed about the timing of their lives by selecting time-frames they feel are appropriate to achieve or acquire wealth, fame, and other excesses of life. Despite this, it is the counsel and will of God that prevails.
There’s a need to understand and appreciate God’s perfect timing for our lives as believers. We cannot emulate the lifestyle of the world by rushing or competing to attain heights and gratifying our self-desires that do not follow the pattern of God. We must learn to submit to God’s perfect timing in all things as this will bring us peace at all times.
