“Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
Exodus 14:14
Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the battles of life? Perhaps you’re facing a difficult situation, and you don’t know how to overcome it. Today’s verse reminds us that we don’t have to fight alone. The Lord Himself will fight for us!
In Exodus 14, the Israelites were trapped between the Red Sea and the Egyptian army. But God instructed them to “Hold their peace” and allow Him do the fighting. Miraculously, it was victory!
This promise is still true for us today. When we face battles, we can trust that the Lord will fight for us. We don’t have to rely on our own strengths or abilities. We can hold our peace, knowing that God is working on our behalf.
Charge: Tell the Lord to give you the courage to hold your peace and allow Him to fight for you.
