“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”
Psalm 27:14
Beloved, be fully assured that you are not wasting time calling upon the Lord as you wait on Him. We wait on the Lord for different reasons, which vary with the seasons of our lives. It’s a good thing to wait on the Lord; but due to our perceived long timing and wrong definition of waiting, believers sometimes get anxious while waiting. There’s time for everything and also an appointed time by God. Our Father in heaven created time; therefore, He cannot be bound by time.
For every season of our lives as children of God, we wait on the Lord for one thing or the other. During the period of waiting, we are encouraged today to be brave and courageous while we stay on God. What are you presently waiting on the Lord for? You might have been seeking the face of the Lord for years to answer your request, but it’s not forthcoming.
Brethren, understand that God is working all things together for your good as you wait on Him. God will always show up; trust Him. The Lord strengthens your heart as you diligently wait on Him in faith. Amen.
