“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39
Beloved, do you love God more than these? Our love for God should be a continuous act shown through us all the time. When our love for God exceeds life experiences that favour or are against us then we can boldly say that we love God.
When trials, temptations, storms of life cannot alter our intimacy with the Father, then we know that our love for God is genuine not a facade. Paul and Silas’ love for God led them to pray, praise and worship the Father while bound in the prison. Our love for God should not be held bound by past or present situations but should transcend life circumstances.
When we love the Lord with our heart, mind, soul and strength then, nothing can stop us from loving the Father. Jobs’ love for God was tested when he lost all, rejection could not separate him from the love of God. May we consciously express our love for God regardless of life troubles. Amen
Prayer: Father, help me to love you with all my heart, soul, mind and strength.
