“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
There’s a high tendency for anyone running on physical abilities to either fall or run out of strength to finish strong. The scripture, “By strength shall no man prevail” further gives us a clear understanding of the limitations of human strength
As a child of God, we consciously run on God’s strength daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and consistently. There’s a place of waiting if we choose to run on the Lord’s strength. We wait to seek the face of the Lord in His word, prayer, worship and communion (fellowship with God and other believers). While waiting patiently on the Lord, our strength is renewed and we receive grace to run and not be weary.A life running on God’s strength cannot fall, fail or falter.
We learn from the life experiences of Elijah, who stayed in the place of prayer and received God’s strength to outrun the chariots of King Ahab. We experience ease and dumbfounding results in every aspect of life when we run on God’s strength. The Lord releases His strength upon us as we consistently wait upon Him. Amen
Charge: Stay committed to waiting on the Lord for strength to soar!
