“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

Psalm 32:

A quick study and understanding of the scriptures record how God led the children of Israelites from Egypt to the promised land. This story describes the need to rely on the Lord’s guidance as we journey through life in faith.

God promised to deliver His people (the Israelites) from the land of slavery (Egypt) and take them to a land flowing with milk and honey (Canaan). Did the Lord fulfill His promise to them? Yes, He did. Remember as the Lord led them, they encountered serious opposition in the form of the red sea, walls of Jericho, and attacks from other nations. In spite of this, they journeyed with the Lord in obedience and He in turn gave them all-round victories.

Beloved, we can always depend solely on God for guidance and trust Him to direct our paths to greatness. As we journey with the Lord in obedience to His word, in prayer, worship and spiritual discernment, we successfully breakthrough limitations on our paths to fulfillment. May we partner with the Holy Spirit as He leads us on the paths of righteousness. Amen

Confession: Dear Lord, I receive grace to follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit consistently.
