“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:7
A person who is emotionally stable in Christ understands the presence and power of the “Prince of Peace.” In times like these, we need to seek and find peace in God.
When we experience God’s peace, we can enjoy a stable mind even in the midst of intense pressures. A sense of God’s wholeness and the reassurance that everything is coming together for good settles deep within us. It’s amazing what happens when Christ replaces worry at the center of our lives.
The peace we receive through Jesus Christ guards our thoughts and emotions. As God’s children, we should not fill our minds with fear but instead remind ourselves of His promises. Today, God’s word confronts that storm in your life, speaking “Peace, be still.”
Beloved, it’s time to surrender all your worries to God because He cares deeply for you. We can learn from Paul and Silas, who praised God even in prison—in the midst of their trials. They did this because they had peace in God’s presence, regardless of their circumstances. May the Lord bless you and keep your minds in perfect peace, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Confession: To every challenging situation in my life, I speak “Peace.”
