” In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.”
Titus 2:7-8
Jesus, our Saviour lived a life worthy of emulation and showed us by teaching, preaching and doing good. Are you modeling the exemplary life of Christ?
Today’s word reveals the need to be an example to others by doing good works of every kind while reflecting integrity and diligence in everything we do.
As humans, we find it easier to talk about doing good but find it difficult to do it. Jesus went around doing good by the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Scriptures such as “By strength shall no man prevail”; “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts,” give us an understanding of the need to seek the help and anointing of the Holy Spirit to do good always.
In all things, Beloved, be an example of good behaviour, be sincere and use sound words that cannot be criticized or faulted by people. May the Lord release His anointing upon us to be good models. Amen.
Confession: I choose to be a model of good works by the help of God.
