It’s humbling to realize that God desires good things for His children, even more than we desire for ourselves. In fact, He is more invested in your well-being and success than you could ever be. Made in His image, you are His representation on earth, and He is deeply committed to ensuring you are well taken care of. This is because goodness is inherent in His nature.
Often, we fail to understand God’s goodness because we tend to judge it by the things that didn’t work out in our lives. We forget that God’s nature is not one of wickedness. If He desires a life for us that far exceeds our imagination, it means He is intentionally working all things out for our good, even when it doesn’t seem that way.
Internalize this truth: God is for you. He is on your side and wants to guide you on a path that is truly good. The beauty of trusting in His goodness is that, as we follow Him, we see how He weaves the best story for our lives. So, even when you don’t understand His ways, trust in His goodness. God is good.
Charge: God’s thoughts for you are only good. Believe it.
