“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Haggai 2:9

God’s promises to us through today’s devotional should be reiterated in our minds daily. The Lord has given us an assurance of a greater glory and a gift of peace. Beloved, your past or previous acts cannot be compared to the present workings of the Holy Spirit in and through you.

We are aware of God’s unending promises to us through the scriptures and must be open to receiving them by faith for the manifestation in our lives. Have you thought of the mighty acts of God and His wondrous works through the scriptures? Do you believe that God is able to perform even beyond our expectations?

Beloved, we serve a “Living God” whose words to us are “Yes and Amen”. We do not need to bear the burdens of our lives and the growth of the church or our callings by ourselves. We should be conscious of this scripture that says, “He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.” May we be sensitive and obedient to the leadings of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Charge: God has said it, believe it, and that settles it!
