“For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.”

Romans 10:12

Are you familiar with the story of Paul and Apollos in the Bible? Our devotional today connects us directly to this account. In 1 Corinthians 3:4-10, we learn about the division among believers concerning Paul and Apollos. However, Paul corrected this misconception.

The division experienced in the early church is unfortunately still present in today’s churches around the world. Are we any different? Perhaps not, but correction is possible, which is the blessing of today’s devotional. The Lord is speaking to us as partakers of Christ to refrain from division and separation among ourselves. There are thousands and millions of churches with different doctrines all over the world, but we serve “One God,” and He is Lord over all.

God has called us into the ministry of reconciliation, and we should all come together in the “unity of faith” given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ. May the Lord give us understanding and grace to dwell together in unity. Amen.
