“And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.”
1 Corinthians 3.23
Who are you? Where do you come from? Who is your Father? Is there anyone who is interested in ensuring that you thrive and grow, while fighting off anyone who tries to hinder you? Who is grooming you? Has anyone ever given their life for you? Who is that person that thinks you are worth everything?
The answers to these questions are what show our lineage. It shows who we belong to and, in essence, determines our lives. If you are a christian, there is only one answer to the questions above. It is God—I am God’s; I come from God; God is my Father; God; God; God—and all these are possible only through Jesus Christ. Ye are Christ’s, and Christ’s is God’s. What a privilege!
The Christian need not ever fret about his identity. If he recognizes and accepts it, he is one of the most secure beings on the face of the earth, for he is God’s own. The King of kings is his Father. The One who created the entire universe finds him worth the deepest of sacrifices. He is loved, and looked after. What great privilege indeed! Beloved, henceforth, boldy carry this identify around and watch things change in and for you.
Confession: I am a child of God; I am His own. He cares for me and He looks after me. I am never alone or without help.
