“Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
2Thessalonians 1:2
It is God that gives peace to His children as long as they remain steadfast to the faith. According to the scriptures, we benefit from God’s grace through Christ redemption and receive His peace that surpasses human understanding. As much as we enjoy God’s divine grace everyday of our lives, we must thrive to seek what only the Lord gives to His children. What could that be?
Peace: Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. Peace is a stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there’s no fighting or war, everything coexisting in perfect harmony and freedom. Jesus says in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
The peace that the Lord gives cannot be compared to that which is in the world.
The Lord blesses us with His perfect peace and as recipients of this great gift of God, we should live peaceably with all men. May the Lord bless us with His peace in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Confession: My heart shall not fear or tremble; I receive peace!
