“And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.”

Genesis 21:1-2

It is a source of relief to know that God can do all things. Yes; He heals the sick, raises the dead, feeds thousands, and performs all things beyond human understanding or expectations.

He speaks the word and works out its manifestation. Numerous instances in the Bible confirm God as “Jehovah” who keeps to His words. “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” Psalms 138:2. The psalmist reveals how God honours His word more than His name.

Whatsoever God has spoken in His word, He can perform. Beloved, God can be trusted, especially as we commit to reminding Him of His promises which is the Word of God. Are you confronted, confused, or concerned? Hold on to God’s word relatable to the situation. God is our ever-present help in times of need and trouble.

May the Lord perform all He has promised to us in His word in Jesus’ name. Amen
