When you wake up in the morning, Abba Father wants to communicate with you. Throughout your day, He desires to engage in conversation. Like a father with his child, there’s a fellowship He seeks to establish with you.
Amidst the many occurrences around us, distractions can easily creep in. Yet, if we pause and patiently let God speak to us, we’ll hear His guidance on what we require, the steps to take, and the path to follow.
We’ll gain the right perspective on our situations. He’ll help us comprehend why we’re in a particular circumstance and how best to manage it. We’ll even discern if some situations come from Him. Building a close relationship with God, our Father, is truly rewarding. When we welcome the Father into our lives, the Holy Spirit will remind us of Jesus, the Prince of Peace’s teachings, freeing us from worries. Let God’s name be praised.
Prayer
Father, I’m grateful for your desire to communicate with me. I recognise my unworthiness, and I don’t take your love lightly. I am Your sheep, and I will hear Your voice. Help me focus my mind and heart, avoiding distractions, so I can walk and converse with You. Grant me the grace to listen patiently, and cultivate an increasing desire for Your presence within me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
