One of the attributes we possess as believers is the spirit of giving and compassion for our neighbors, fueled by the love that resides within us.
When the topic of giving arises, many tend to think it’s solely about contributing to men of God or spiritual authorities. However, our opening verse emphasises the importance of sharing with the needs of fellow believers.
As believers, it’s not only vital to contribute to our spiritual leaders, but also to extend our compassion to all believers. It’s our duty to take on the responsibility of assisting fellow believers in their times of need.
There are abundant blessings linked to even the smallest contributions you offer to your neighbour, a sister in need, or a woman seeking assistance. Demonstrating love to all individuals is essential.
And a pivotal way to express love towards everyone is by showing genuine concern, extending compassion, and providing a helping hand to those in need. By doing so, you demonstrate your recognition of God’s presence through your actions.
