“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
Romans 8:1
There are parts of ourselves we do not like everyone to see. We want to be well-packaged lest we bring disrespect as a result of things they know about you, and this is fine. However, there’s a place where it must be different: in the presence of your heavenly Father. Understand that Father God will never condemn you for anything or throw you to the side because of your weaknesses. Understand that He wants to see you naked and without shame before Him. Understand that for every part of you, He sees, no matter how ugly, He finds a way to breathe beauty into it.
Be real with God. Be okay with admitting your deepest darkest secrets before Him. Don’t pretend like everything is fine when you’re with Him, even when it’s not. Don’t harden your heart from His touch. He is always willing to answer your questions, so whenever you are angry and sad, it’s okay to ask Him the questions in your heart. It really is. Jesus loves you. And one definition of love is the fact that it doesn’t flinch away from your ugly parts. It accepts all of you and seeks to make you whole.
So, come. Come unashamed. Come boldly. Come naked. Jesus loves you and will help you. He will answer your questions. He will breathe hope in your despair. He will save you. So, come.

Amen.
God is familiar with my ways. There’s nothing I can hide from Him.
The more I open up to Him, the deeper my relationship with Him will be.
Thank you.
Very true, ma. Nothing is hidden from God. God sees us inside out. This is the more reason we must be real with Him and also develop deeper relationship with Him. And even He awaits us always.
